Does anyone know about the laws of Facial Piercings in Food Service?

I work in a restaurant in wisconsin and I've been looking into the laws of facial piercings while working in food service and I can't find diddly. I know two people who have them, one in her lip and one in her nose. They work with the food and with customers. Now, the one with the labret (lip piercing) doesn't take it out, and its small and she doesn't get any complaints. However, the one with the nose piercing takes it out when she works, and if she didn't, I'm sure she would get complaints cause closed minded people don't like to see that when they get food. All in all, I want to find out what the law says exactly about having and getting new facial piercings when you work in food service.

Anyone with information on the laws of facial piercings, your info is greatly appreciated. Anyone with a comment about how you dislike facial piercings or piercings altogether, it doesn't help my question to just say that and not have an answer. Thank you everyone.Does anyone know about the laws of Facial Piercings in Food Service?
There is no law that says you can not work with piercings, it is nothing more than a question of each employer for the image you want to dar.Hay entrepreneurs who feel that their workers take inappropriate piercings visible, however there are others who gives igual.por example I know of several supermarkets in the same chain in which one does not allow workers to bring sight and piercings But there is another kid who leads with a 9 in each ear, 1 lip, 1 in the nose, 1 eyebrow and 1 in the language, and that the girl working there.Does anyone know about the laws of Facial Piercings in Food Service?
Well I work at mcdonalds (lame I know)

And apparently we're not allowed to have facial piercings because of OH%26amp;S?

But I think its a load of crud, because its only if your serving that they really care. I think its more about appearances and hospitality in the food industry where piercings are a problem, than them poisoning the food or something haha

But Im not sure of any laws, I really don't think there'd be any though.
There's no law. But the majority of restaurants/fast food places won't allow showing tattoos or piercings.
...There are no laws. The specific restaurants likely have rules against them, though some may be more lenient. They want to avoid offending people.
Health regulations stipulate that you should have no facial piercings whatsoever. There is always a risk of it falling into the food. Although the risk is minute, it still exists. Although there is no ';law';, your manager may well tell you to take it out.

I have several facial piercings, and ear piercings; and have to take all of them out - except for a single stopper in each ear - every time I go to work. It's annoying, but such is life in hospitality. I have never had a single customer walk out because I had piercings; instead they ask questions - even the more closed-minded people.

But yeah; working with food; you should always take your piercings out. And talking from experience, a nose stud is easier to disguise and less likely to fall out than a labret piercing.
